I am originally from the St. Louis area and have spent most of my life involved in early childhood education. I am a graduate of St. Charles Community College’s Early Education Program and I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I am the co-chair of the Week of the Young Child Committee for River’s Bend Association of the Education of Young Children and on the Advisory Committee for St. Charles Community College’s Early Childhood Program. I have 30 years experience in both child care and preschool programs and 5 years experience as a director for a program that served over 500 children. My husband and I have been members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for over 20 years where I have served on the Early Childhood Ministry Committee since the beginning. I have helped in the design and development of the building of Good Shepherd Little Lambs Child Development Center. I am blessed to be part of our mission to spread the good news of the gospel to the young children in our community.

Mrs. Cheryl Herriges - Assistant Director

I am originally from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area where I attended Lutheran elementary school and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School. My husband and I moved to the area about seven years ago with our three children. I have been involved with teaching children in Sunday School for over thirty years. I have taken numerous early childhood courses from St. Charles Community College and have attended various seminars on early childhood training. When Good Shepherd Little Lambs Child Development Center opened in 2005, I became a teacher and the assistant director. Teaching children about Jesus is one of the greatest joys of my life. Last year I received a certificate of recognition for service to our early childhood ministry by the Missouri State Legislature.

Mrs. Annette Friedrichsmeyer - Teacher

I am a native of the St. Louis area. After high school, I attended Florissant Valley Community College. There I studied Early Childhood Education and received a Certificate of Proficiency in this area. I am married and have two wonderful daughters. We are very active in our church, Zion Lutheran. I have always enjoyed being part of the learning experience with young children. I have over twenty years of experience in early childhood education; the last six years have been right here at Good Shepherd Little Lambs. I have enjoyed the successes and challenges of small children and look forward to many more.
