Michael W. Dietz - Pastor

Pastor Michael W. Dietz has been serving as the pastor at Good Shepherd since 1998. He has served congregations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, and Iowa. He is married with three adult children. Raised on a farm in southwestern Minnesota, he values family and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His interests include talking to people about Jesus, golf, fishing, hunting, and racquetball. He is a 1975 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with additional post graduate degrees in systematic theology.

James Boggs - Outreach Minister

James Boggs came to serve as Outreach Minister at Good Shepherd in the summer of 2006 following his graduation from Martin Luther College. He married his wonderful wife, Beth, in June 2007 and they welcomed their first child, Grace, on September 30, 2009. Jim’s hobbies are playing golf and cheering for his Indiana sports teams. He is thankful to the Lord for all the blessings he has received!

As the Outreach Minister, he has the privilege of working with the members of the congregation to share the message of Jesus Christ with those in our community. During the year Jim coordinates multiple outreach events and spends time building relationships and sharing the gospel message with prospective families. Other tasks Jim is responsible for include: organizing fellowship events and reaching out to our preschool families, overseeing Parent’s Evening out, and assisting with teaching Bible classes when needed.
